Ramen is an inexpensive dehydrated wheat noodle that is often served in a meat or fish based broth. Preparing Ramen noodles in a unique method is an effective way to extend their culinary use. One method to add variety to your noodles is to make your own spice

Things You'll Need
  • 2 tbsp. onion powder
  • 2 tbsp. ground ginger
  • 2 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp. ground black pepper
  • Salt, to taste

Find a kitchen container that is the right size to fit 8 tablespoons of spices.

Add the onion powder, ground ginger, garlic powder, ground black pepper and salt to the container.

Place the lid on the container and shake until mixed thoroughly.

Pour 2 cups of water and 1 tablespoon of your homemade spice mixture in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil and add a package of Ramen noodles. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
